No. 1 Men's Lightweights Host Busy Day On Lake Carnegie Saturday

PRINCETON – The No. 1 Men's Lightweight Rowing Team has a busy day on Lake Carnegie hosting a Lightweight Invitational on Saturday.
Action for the Tigers gets underway with their fours racing California, Gordon and Iona at 10:40 a.m. Princeton battles Columbia starting at 10:50 a.m. before the first varsity races for the Campbell Cup at 11:10 a.m.
Princeton is 3-1 all-time in Campbell Cup races, collecting a 1.5-second victory over the Lions in 2022.
In the afternoon, the Tigers take on Mercyhurst, MIT and Penn at 1:40 with the second varsity. First varsity action gets underway at 2 p.m. Princeton's four will races Fairfield and Iona at 3:10 p.m.
In the first races of 2023, head coach Marty Crotty's squad collected wins over Navy and Georgetown. The Tigers flipped a 1.3-second loss to Navy last year into a 4.6-second victory in 2023.
