CAMBRIDGE – The two-time defending national champion Princeton women's lightweight rowing team easily disposed Radcliffe by 12.6 seconds to bring back the Class of 1999 Cup.
"It's never easy racing on the Charles and we are happy to start the year this way," said head coach Paul Rassam. "Having said that, we are eager to get faster. We have a lot of room to grow."
The varsity double took home a time of 7:52.2, four seconds ahead of the home squad. Radcliffe's only win (7:48.9) came in the varsity four (7:59.5).
Princeton will welcome Stanford to Lake Carnegie on Apr. 15.
