No.1 Women's Lightweight Rowing Welcomes No. 4 Stanford To Lake Carnegie Saturday

PRINCETON – The No. 1 Princeton Women's Lightweight Rowing Squad takes on the No. 4 Stanford Cardinal at Lake Carnegie on Saturday for the Class of 2015 Cup.

Princeton last raced two weeks ago, easily disposing Harvard by 12.6 seconds to secure the Class of 1999 Cup. The varsity double took home a time of 7:52.2, four seconds ahead of the home squad. Radcliffe's only win (7:48.9) came in the varsity four (7:59.5).

Last season, head coach Paul Rassam's squad rowed its way to an 8.8-second win in the V8 to claim the Class of 2015 Cup, finishing first in 7:28.77. The other two wins were a bit closer, the V4 picking up a 1.2-second win and the V2 winning by open water over the Cardinal.
