Women's Water Polo Ties Program Record With No. 6 CWPA Ranking; Travels To Michigan This Weekend

PRINCETON – The No. 6 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team makes the trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan to finish off the regular season.
The Tigers take on No. 12 Michigan on Saturday at 11 a.m. before battling Bucknell later in the day at 6 p.m. Princeton finishes off the weekend on Sunday vs. St. Francis at 10:30 a.m. With a win over the Wolverines, Princeton will clinch the No. 1 seed in the CWPA Tournament (Apr. 28-30).
Princeton is currently in a tie for No. 6 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Top-25 poll which is tied for the best mark in program history. (2015, final poll).
Jovana Sekulic paces Princeton with 65 goals, a .657 shooting percentage and 70 drawn ejections in 21 games played. Kayla Yelensky is second on the squad with 46 tallies, adding 21 assists, 31 drawn ejections and 10 steals. Shanna Davidson (39) and Kaila Carroll (30) have also posted at least 30 tallies while Kate Mallery (29), Rachael Carver (27), Annie Robinson (22) and Laura Larkin (20) have posted at least 20 goals for the Tigers. Carver's 67 helpers are the most in the single season in program history.
Lindsey Lucas has been excellent in goal, producing a 23-2 record with a .592 save percentage and 264 saves in 25 games.
