Dominant Performances By Men's Track & Field On Day Two of Larry Ellis Invitational Despite Weather Disruptions

Princeton, N.J. - Day Two of the Larry Ellis Invitational was marked by impressive performances from the Princeton men's track and field team, despite the meet being cut short due to inclement weather.
In the Men's 4x100 final, the Princeton squad consisting of Greg Foster, Joey Gant, John Catherman, and Ibrahim Ayorinde took first place with a blazing time of 40.31, earning the fifth all-time best performance for Princeton.

Princeton, N.J. - Day Two of the Larry Ellis Invitational was marked by impressive performances from the Princeton men's track and field team, despite the meet being cut short due to inclement weather.
In the Men's 4x100 final, the Princeton squad consisting of Greg Foster, Joey Gant, John Catherman, and Ibrahim Ayorinde took first place with a blazing time of 40.31, earning the fifth all-time best performance for Princeton.
In the Men's 1500m, Sebastian Fisher finished in third place with a time of 3:54.77, while Joseph Fast crossed the finish line in 4:03.27.
The Men's Shot Put event saw a dominant performance from the Tiger contingent, with Casey Helm taking the top spot with a throw of 17.55m. Joe Licata secured third place with a throw of 17.00m, and Tyler Konopka closely followed in fourth with a throw of 16.99m.
In the first round of the 110m hurdles, Greg Foster once again impressed, clocking a time of 14.23 to earn a fourth all-time performance for Princeton. Easton Tan finished in fourth place with a time of 14.41, and Albert Kreutzer closely followed in fifth at 14.44. Unfortunately, the 110m hurdle finals were canceled due to inclement weather.
In the Men's High Jump, John Hogan cleared a height of 1.95m, earning a solid finish for Princeton.
Due to the weather conditions, the Men's Discus Throw, Long Jump, and Pole Vault events were cut short outdoors.
Sondre Guttormsen set a new meet record at the Larry Ellis Invitational by clearing a height of 5.81m when competition was moved indoors, breaking his own previous record of 5.63m set at last year's meet. Simen Guttormsen cleared 4.95m, and Nick Molloy reached a height of 4.80m.
In the discus throw, Joe Licata threw for an impressive distance of 47.17m, Tyler Konopka recorded a toss of 46.76m, and Avery Shunneson covered a distance of 46.22m. The Tigers were limited to only three attempts in this event before the meet was officially canceled.
Finally, Phil Kastner led the way for Princeton in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.91m before day two of the Larry Ellis invitational was cut short.
