PROVIDENCE – The No. 7 Women's Water Polo Team dropped the No. 13 Michigan Wolverines, 11-9, on Sunday morning.
Trailing by one, Princeton went on a five-goal run and led 6-2 before taking a three-goal lead into halftime. After Michigan opened up the second half with a tally, the Tigers registered back-to-back goals to go in front, 8-4.
After the two teams exchanged goals, Princeton ran off two more tallies to jump ahead by six, 11-5, before holding off the Wolverines by two.
