Kate Mallery scored five times in the win over Harvard

PROVIDENCE – The No. 7 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team swept its Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) doubleheader on Saturday.
No. 7 Princeton 12, No. 14 Harvard 10 (OT)
The Crimson started off with the first two goals, but the Tigers rallied to tie the game at 3-all after eight minutes.
Princeton took the lead three times in the second quarter and led 6-5 at halftime. The Tigers scored the first tally of the second half, but Harvard countered to tie the game at 7-all.
Kate Mallery put Princeton ahead, 8-7, as the fourth quarter began. Shanna Davidson made it a 9-7 contest, but the Crimson scored twice including with 18 seconds left to send the game into overtime.
The Tigers snagged the first two goals of the extra session, but the Crimson cut the deficit to one, 11-10, with 38 seconds to go. Mallery's fifth goal of the game solidified the victory for Princeton with nine seconds remaining.

The two CWPA foes exchanged tallies in the third stanza but a Laura Larkin goal with three seconds remaining in the third stanza put Princeton in front, 8-5.
Lindsey Lucas and a stellar Princeton defense held Brown off the scoreboard in the fourth frame.
With one more weekend left in the regular season, the Tigers sit at the top of the CWPA standings at 7-0. The Tigers currently sit with 25 victories, marking the eighth time in program history they have reached that milestone.
