No. 5 Heavies Fall To No. 2 Yale On Lake Carnegie

PRINCETON – The No. 2 Yale Bulldogs rallied to take home the Carnegie Cup over the No. 5 Princeton Men's Heavyweight Team and No. 12 Cornell Big Red on Lake Carnegie.
In the first varsity, Yale (5:36.8) rallied over the final 500m to catch Princeton (5:37.7) and earn a .9 second victory.
"The 1V rowed an impressively gutsy race today and I am extremely proud of the progress our whole team have made through the course of the regular season," said Princeton head coach Greg Hughes.
The Bulldogs took home a 2.9-second decision (5:52.1) over Princeton (5:55.) at 2V while also earning victories at 3V, 4V and 5V.
Princeton welcomes Brown to Lake Carnegie next Saturday (Apr. 29) for the Content Cup.
