PRINCETON – The No. 2 Men's Lightweight Rowing Team heads to Cambridge to take on the No. 4 Yale Bulldogs and No. 5 Harvard Crimson for the Goldhwait/Vogel Cups.

The Tigers' 1V crossed the finish line at 6:25.6, more than three seconds in front of Georgetown (6:28.8) and seven seconds ahead of Penn (6:32.8) to earn the Wood-Hammond trophy. Princeton swept the races with the 2V earning a five-second decision (6:23.0), the Varsity Four picking up a 15.8-second win (7:56.4) and the third varsity corralling a 3.2-second win (6:36.0).

Yale has won the last two Vogel Cup (award to the team with the top point score among the HYP schools) and secured the Goldthwait Cup in 2022.

Head coach Marty Crotty's 1V has picked up victories this season over No. 5 Navy, No. 7 Georgetown twice, No.9 Dartmouth, Columbia, Mercyhurst, MIT, Penn twice, Delaware.
