No. 4 Women's Open Crew Has Stellar Day on Charles River

CAMBRIDGE – The No. 4 Women's Open Crew team swept all of its races on the Charles River on Saturday morning.
"It was a great day for the team," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "Every boat had a solid race and it was fun to watch the team win the Class of 1975 Cup. This cup was given by the first group of women to row at Princeton. The pioneers who made this possible and who have helped build the team we have today. We are happy with today and look forward to next weekend."
The Tigers' third V4 raced across at 8:18.3, way in front of Cornell (9:06.5).
Princeton's 2V4 crossed the finish line at 7:51.5, ahead of Radcliffe (8:06.9) and Cornell (8:37.7).
The Tigers' varsity four had an impressive race, going out to 7:35.9 while Radcliffe (8:01.3) and Cornell (8:31.0) finished at over eight minutes.
Princeton's 2V crossed the line at 6:52.4 while Radcliffe was second (7:08.5) and Cornell was third (7:30.3).
First Varsity earned the Class of 1975 Cup for the eighth straight race, collecting a 6:35.5 with Radcliffe (6:47.4) and Cornell (7:14.6) rounded out the field.
The third varsity finished the racing with a 7:09.3 in front of Radcliffe (7:29.9) and Cornell (7:32.4).
