The Princeton Women's Track and Field Team had an eventful weekend that included a series of impressive performances at three meets; The Duke Invitational, The Miami Invitational, and the Oscar Moore Invitational.
Duke Invitational
The distance squad continued their success from Friday at Duke, with Charlotte O'Toole achieving a lifetime best of 2:10.49 in the Women's 800m finals, earning her a fifth-place finish. O'Toole won her heat and secured a top ten finish in Durham, North Carolina.
Miami Alumni Invitational
The Princeton women showcased their strength in Miami, delivering impressive performances on Saturday. In the javelin throw, Kate Joyce secured an impressive first place finish with a throw of 52.14m. Shea Greene delivered a strong performance, finishing second with a throw of 48.71m, which now stands as the second all-time best for Princeton.
Niki Woods also impressed, finishing in sixth with a throw of 43.42m, ranking her mark No. 7 all-time for Princeton.
Siniru Iheoma continues to be a force in the Shot Put. She finished fourth in Miami with a throw of 15.08m.
The Triple Jump saw outstanding performances from Princeton. Tia Rozario, secured third place with a distance of 12.62m, Alexandra Kelly finished in fourth with a distance of 12.53m, and Georginia Scoot secured ninth with a distance of 12.28m, which now ranks as No. 7 all-time best for Princeton.
SJ Cohen showed out in the Pole Vault, finishing sixth with a height of 3.80m.
Arianna Smith finished strong in the 400m hurdles, securing an impressive third place finish with a time of 59.53.
The Women's 200m final saw Brianna Mponzi deliver an impressive performance, finishing eighth with a time of 24.08 which now stands as the fourth all-time best for Princeton. Harlowe Brumett-Dunn finished in 15th with a time of 25.02.
In the Women's 100m final, Brianna Mponzi emerged as the top Tiger, finishing 11th with a time of 11.77 seconds. Harlowe Brumett-Dunn clocked a time of 11.92 seconds, earning her a spot at No. 6 on the all-time performances list for Princeton, while Olivia Hee posted a time of 11.98, ranking her time No. 8 all-time for Princeton. Lily Parris also finished with a strong time of 12.28.
In the 4x100m final, the team comprising of Lily Parris, Brianna Mponzi, Harlowe Brumett-Dunn, and Olivia Hee secured a remarkable finish of 46.13 seconds, which will now stand as No. 3 all-time best for Princeton.
The Women's 4x400m final witnessed a strong display by the Princeton team. The squad of Brianna Mponzi, Adelaide Asante, India Ingemi, and Arianna Smith finished with a time of 3:45.05 and the team of Lauren Harris, Maddie Cramer, Stella Vieth, and Maisha Atkinson crossed the finish line at 3:56.58.
Julia Jongejeugd competed in the Heptathlon, finishing with 4081 points. She shined in the shot put, finishing with a distance of 11.52m.
Oscar Moore Rowan Invitational
In Glassboro at Rowan, Amy Aririguzoh impressed in the high jump, clearing 1.50 meters to take a first place finish. In the long jump, Casey Burton lept 5.42 meters to also secure a first place finish.
Madeline Wolford impressed in the Hammer Throw, securing a third-place finish with a distance of 46.67m. Oluwatise Okeremi also finished the day with a strong performance in the javelin throw, achieving a distance of 34.31m.
The Princeton women continue to impress throughout the outdoor season, concluding the weekend with several season-best performances.
