Women's Track and Field Concludes NCAA East Regional Competition

Jacksonville, FL. – The Tiger women concluded the final day of NCAA East Regionals with strong performances from the Princeton squad of qualifiers.
Arianna Smith competed in the first round of the 400m hurdles, and advanced to Saturday's quarterfinals. Smith finished 23rd overall with a time of 58.58 on Thursday.
In the Semifinals, Smith finished 22nd place overall with her time of 1:00.04.
First year jumper Alexandra Kelly competed in the Triple Jump on Saturday and took a top 20 finish to take 14th place with her leap of 13.03m.
Tia Rozario also landed among the top 20 in 18th with her leap of 12.97m. Kelly and Rozario conclude a phenomenal year of jumps and had great performances on Saturday among some of the region's top athletes.
Siniru Iheoma also had a top 20 finish during Saturday's competion in the discus throw. Iheoma threw for 51.89m to take a 14th overall finish.
In the high jump, Madeleine Wood cleared an impressive 1.67m to take a 38th overall finish.
Lexi Allen participated in the 3000m steeplechase, and crossed the finish line at 10:43.34 to earn a 39th overall finish.
To conclude the Tiger women's' performances, Seniors India Weir and Abby Loveys took part in the 5000m. Weir placed 25th overall with her time of 16:21.58 and Loveys 41st with a time of 16:49.99.
