No. 1 Women's Lightweight Rowing Has Three Boats Racing For IRA Gold Sunday

WEST WINDSOR – The No. 1 Princeton Women's Lightweight Rowing Team had each boat win its race for lanes event on Saturday morning.
The 2X duo of Amelia Boehle and Kasey Shashaty caught Radcliffe (8:47.60) right before the 1,000m mark before cruising to a 8.35-second victory (8:18.23). Boston was third at 8:47.60. The Princeton duo will go for back-to-back IRA titles tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
The varsity fours led throughout its race for lanes, earning a 4.2-second decision (8:02.82) over MIT (8:07.0). That Tigers' crew goes for gold at 8:08 a.m. Sunday.
Princeton's varsity eight had the fastest times in each 500m increment, securing a 7:12.51 time ahead of Stanford (7:16.53), Georgetown (7:20.67) and Boston (7:21.82). The varsity eight races for its third straight gold Sunday at 9:36 a.m.
