Heavies' 4- Boat Falls In Henley Semifinals; George '18 To Race For Title

HENLEY-ON-THAMES – The Tigers' 4 – boat fell in the semifinals of the Visitors' Challenge Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The group of Floyd Benedikter, Stephane Pienaar, Nick Taylor and James Quinlan lost to the Leander Club (6:43) by 1 ¼ lengths.
Tom George '18 and Ollie Wynne Griffith defeated a Yale alumni boat to advance to the Silver Goblets and Nickalls Challenge Cup. They will take on Joel Cullen and Jack Walkey from Canada in the Championship race.
DeGroot '19 and Canada 4x fell to A.Z.S. Torun & W.T.W. Wloclawek of Poland by 1 ½ lengths (6:42).
