Tordin's Big Weekend Earns Ivy Weekly Honor

Pietra Tordin had a point in five of Princeton's eight goals in an opening-weekend sweep, and the Tiger sophomore's eight points on the successful weekend has earned her Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Tordin scored Princeton's first and third goals in a 3-0 win over Monmouth on Friday before scoring the first and assisting on the third and fourth goals in the 5-0 win over La Salle on Sunday.Â
Tordin is already closing in on halfway to the freshman-year totals that won her Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors. Tordin had eight goals and three assists for 19 points in 2022.
Tordin and the Tigers will look to keep the strong start going Thursday in a 7 p.m. game against Rutgers before Army West Point visits Saturday at 6 p.m.
