With a 64th-minute free-kick goal from Pietra Tordin and a shutout performance from keeper Tyler McCamey and the Tigers, the Princeton women's soccer team defeated Columbia 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in New York to wrap up the program's 11th Ivy League women's soccer title and first since 2018.

Princeton finishes the regular season 12-4 overall and 6-1 in the Ivy League, edging out Columbia's 5-1-1 finish. With that, Princeton will host the Ivy League Tournament on Friday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 10 at Roberts Stadium, facing Harvard as the fourth seed in Friday's 4:30 p.m. semifinal. Second-seeded Columbia will meet third-seeded Brown in the 1 p.m. semifinal. Sunday's final is set for 1 p.m.
Columbia held a narrow 13-12 overall and 3-2 on-goal shot advantage, drawing eight corners to three for Princeton. But, McCamey and the Tigers turned aside all eight Lion corners and McCamey stopped all three shots on goal to preserve the shutout, which was her and Princeton's second straight. McCamey has seven shutouts on the season including four against Ivy opponents.Â
