Women's Squash Team to Open 2024-25 Season, New Facility Saturday

Saturday will bring the first match of the 2024-25 season and the first match for the Princeton women's squash team at its new facility in Princeton's Meadows neighborhood when the Tigers host Drexel in a 2:30 p.m. start.

Coming off a 2023-24 season that saw the Tigers make a run to the CSA team finals and finish with a No. 2 national ranking, Princeton will open the 2024-25 season Saturday with a visit from Drexel, which finished with a No. 9 national ranking last season.
Princeton holds a 12-1 all-time lead over Drexel and has won the last two since the Dragons' lone win in the series, which came in the quarterfinals of the 2022 CSA team tournament. The teams first met in Nov. 2012.
From the CSA team final lineup, the Tigers return six players in Zeina Zein, Liyen Teoh, Emma Trauber, Charlotte Bell, Molly Chadwick and Sonya Sasson. Zein, Teoh and Trauber each earned All-American and All-Ivy honors last season, with Zein the Ivy Rookie of the Year.
Drexel will enter the match with a 4-1 record with the lone loss coming in the team's lone match against an Ivy team, a 7-2 loss to Penn on Nov. 16.
Following the match, Princeton will compete again on Dec. 7, heading to Williams.
