November 23, 2024 | Women's Squash
Already years into her status as Princeton's winningest coach in program history, head coach Gail Ramsay reached a milestone on Saturday afternoon in a new building, getting her 300th career win as Princeton won its first match in its new facility in Princeton's Meadows neighborhood.
The 9-0 win over Drexel saw the Tigers, who were national runners-up last season, get wins from Zeina Zein, Emma Trauber, Molly Chadwick, Charlotte Bell, Katherine Sapinski, Liyen Teoh, Josephine Klein, Abigail Schuster and Hermione Cao. The wins from Zein, Sapinski, Teoh and Cao were all in sweeps, with Trauber, Bell and Schuster winning in four and Klein winning the odd-numbered games to take her match in five.
Princeton will look to follow up its season-opening win with another in a trip to Williams on Dec. 7. The Ephs, coached by former Princeton assistant Hesham Aly, finished the season ranked No. 14 in 2023-24.
