Men's Track & Field Concludes Weekend with Strong Finish in Four Meets

This past weekend, the Princeton men's track and field team concluded their competitions, participating in the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston, Giegengack Invitational at Yale, Clemson's Tiger Paw Invitational, and the Boston College Eagle Elite Invitational.
Tiger Paw Invitational
Freshman Xavier Donaldson broke into the Princeton indoor all-time list in the 400m. Donaldson went 47.64 for an 8th all-time position.
In the men's 200m, three freshman made their mark on the Princeton indoor all-time list. Jackson Clarke claimed the 3rd position with a time of 21.09, Zach Della Rocca secured the 4th spot with 21.23, and Xavier Donaldson earned the 5th place with a time of 21.26. In the long jump, Greg Foster jumped for a mark of 7.71m (25-3.50), claiming 4th place in the event.
Giegengack Invitational
Joey Avallone clinched the top spot in the pole vault event at the Giegengack Invitational by clearing 4.45 meters (14 feet 7.25 inches).
Eagle Elite Invitational
Paul Brennan took 5th place with a mark of 18.88m (61'11") with Avery Shunneson placing 6th with his mark of 18.74m (61'5")
BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational
During the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, sophomore John Catherman secured fourth place in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 6.88 seconds. Meanwhile, junior Harrison Witt claimed fifth place in the 1000-meter race, clocking in at 2 minutes and 23.41 seconds.
