Men's Track & Field's Konopka and Fischer Take First Place at Scarlet Knight Open

NEW YORK, NY - The Princeton men's track and field meet wrapped up competition at The Armory for the Scarlet Knights Open this Saturday afternoon. Among the standout performances were Tyler Konopka's shot put throw, Camren Fischer's dominant 3000m run, and Albert Kreutzer's impressive 60m hurdles performance.

Shot Put:
Tyler Konopka stole the spotlight in the shot put event, jumping into the 9th all-time at Princeton and achieving a personal best with a throw of 17.92m (58-9.50). Following closely behind, Joe Licata secured the second position with a strong throw of 17.42m (57-2.00), while Casey Helm claimed the 4th spot with a mark of 16.81m (55-2.00).
3000m Run:
In a competitive 3000m run, Camren Fischer secured a first-place finish, crossing the finish line with an impressive time of 8:09.65. Right on his heels, Daniel O'Brien claimed the second position with a time of 8:10.41.
60m Hurdles:
Albert Kreutzer displayed secured a notable second-place finish with a time of 8.24 seconds. His performance highlighted the technical skill required for success in the hurdles.
Triple Jump:
Ilay Forman showcased his talent in the triple jump event, securing an 8th place finish with a mark of 13.93m (45-8.50).
Pole Vault:
Joey Avallone took an 8th place finish with a mark of 4.43m (14-6.25).
High Jump:
John Hogan's performance in the high jump earned him a 5th place finish with a mark of 1.90m (6-2.75).
