PRINCETON – The No. 3 Princeton Women's Crew Team won five of the six races today at Lake Carnegie over the No. 6 Brown Bears.
"It's a great start to the season," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "Every boat had a solid race. The highlight was watching the freshmen race in their first 2K with Princeton. Brown was fast and every race was very close. We have more work to do, and we're excited to continue forward."
The Varsity Four opened the event with a 1.8-second decision (7:36.8-7:38.6) before the second varsity crossed the line (6:45.7) in front of the Bears (6:48.5).
Princeton's B Four collected a 10-second win (7:34.6) and the C4 earned a 6.2-second triumph (7:45.0).
