Zein Comes Up Just Short in Finals Bid as Three Tigers Advance to Sunday at CSAs

Princeton rookie Zeina Zein had already achieved becoming the program's first Ramsay Cup semifinalist since 2015, but her bid to become the first Tiger to reach the final of the top draw at the CSA individual championships since 2001 came up just a game short.

Zein dropped a back-and-forth match with Harvard's Saran Ngheim 3-2, winning the first game and then the fourth to force a fifth game before Ngheim took game five, 11-6.

Molly Chadwick, Emma Trauber and Josephine Klein will compete on Sunday in Holleran draws, with Chadwick in the Holleran North final against Yale's Gigi Yeung at 11:10 a.m., Trauber in the Holleran South final against Columbia's Erica McGillicuddy at 12 p.m., and Klein in the Holleran West consolation final against Williams' Melaine Wang at 10:20 a.m.
