Tessa Mudd Places 13th at 2024 NCAA Indoor Nationals

BOSTON, Mass. - Tess Mudd concluded her indoor season by earning Second Team All-America recognition at the 2024 Indoor Track and Field Championships held at The Track at New Balance. Mudd secured the 13th position overall, achieving a mark of 4.15m (13-7.25) on the national stage.
The sophomore who holds an Ivy League record has many achievements to celebrate from her 2024 indoor season. Among them, she soared over a height of 4.39m to claim the title of Ivy League Champion, simultaneously shattering the Ivy League record. Additionally, she made her inaugural appearance at the NCAA National Championships.
"It has been argued that the NCAA Indoor championships is the second best indoor track and field meet in the world," said head coach Michelle Eisenreich. "Tessa proved with her performance that she is among the best vaulters in the world. This experience was a great learning opportunity and will certainly help prepare her the many elite competitions in the future."
