PRINCETON – The Harvard Crimson defeated the Princeton Baseball Team, 14-2, at Clarke Field on Sunday afternoon.
Harvard got the scoring start as Matt Gilberti hit the second base bag allowing Peter Messerv in the third inning. Ben Rounds followed with a RBI double.
The Crimson tacked on four more in the fourth, two in the fifth and six in the sixth inning.
Jake Kernodle and Tommy Googins RBI hits in the ninth stanza provided the home team with their two runs.
Caden Shapiro had two hits to pace the Tigers in the loss. Ethan Hsu and Jackson Baldrate combined to throw three scoreless relief innings for Princeton.
The Tigers welcome Rider to Clarke Field on Wednesday (Apr. 17). First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
