Corniea, O'Leary Named to USA Hockey's National Festival

Rising sophomore Uma Corniea and rising junior Emerson O'Leary will head to USA Hockey's National Festival to be held in Lake Placid, N.Y., Aug. 4-11.
Corniea and O'Leary will be part of a pool to be selected for the U.S. Collegiate Select team to compete against Canadian counterparts over three games Aug. 14-17 in St. Catharines, Ont.
Corniea took part in a USA Hockey goaltending camp in May in Michigan after a season that saw her included on the Hockey Commissioners' Association's National Rookie of the Year Watch List. Corniea played in 18 games during her rookie season in 2023-24, finishing with a 2.30 GAA and a 7-6-2 record.
O'Leary played in all 32 games during her sophomore season this past winter, finishing third on the team with 32 points and second with 25 assists, scoring seven goals.
Along with the future Princeton alumnae, Liz Keady Norton '08 will coach USA Hockey's U-18 Women's Select Team.
