Heavyweight Rowing Announces 2024-25 Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University heavyweight rowing head coach Greg Hughes announced the Tigers' 2024-25 schedule Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers will row twice in the fall, first at the Head of the Charles on Oct. 20 then at Lake Carnegie for the Princeton Chase on Nov. 3.
Spring competition begins at home against Georgetown and Temple on Mar. 29. The Princeton-Navy Cup follows at Lake Carnegie on Apr. 5, before the Tigers travel to New York, New York, to face Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania for the Childs Cup.
Princeton hosts Harvard on Apr. 19 in a battle for the Compton Cup, then the Tigers make the trip to New Haven, Connecticut, to take on Yale and Cornell for the Carnegie Cup. Regular season competition wraps up against Brown for the Content Cup on May 3 at Lake Carnegie.
Postseason begins on May 18 with Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Massachusetts, then the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championships take place in Camden, New Jersey, from May 30 until June 1.
