#4 Princeton to Face #3 Harvard For The Compton Cup

PRINCETON, N.J. – The #4 Princeton University men's heavyweight rowing team will make the trip up to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to race #3 Harvard for the Compton Cup Saturday at the Charles River.

9 a.m. – 2V
9:20 a.m. – 1V (Compton Cup)
Spectating in Cambridge
If you are coming into Cambridge for the weekend's racing, the racing can best be viewed from the Cambridge shore of the Charles River Basin. Should you want instructions to the finish line area on the basin, you can use the following Google Maps link.
Our Princeton crews will be rowing from the Harvard boathouse on the Charles River. Should you want to see the crews after racing, you will be able to find them there.
Compton Cup History
The Karl Taylor Compton Cup started in 1933 as a gift of the student body of MIT to the winner of the varsity heavyweight crews of Princeton, Harvard and MIT, although MIT has not competed since 2016. The Crimson lead the all-time series with 67 wins, the Tigers have 18 and MIT one. After winning the Compton Cup in 2024 and 2023 before falling to Harvard in 2025, Princeton will aim to reclaim it.
