No. 4 Princeton Sweeps Weekend, Tops No. 2 Trinity, 5-4

In a rematch of the 2024 CSA Howe Cup final, the No. 4-ranked Princeton women's squash team was a 5-4 winner over No. 2-ranked Trinity on Sunday afternoon at the racquet center in Princeton's Meadows Neighborhood.
Caroline Eielson and Zeina Zein got Princeton out to a 2-0 lead with three-game wins at fifth and first positions before Trinity's Janna Ashmawy needed five games to get past Sonya Sasson at seventh and get the Bantams on the board.
Katherine Sapinski won her match at sixth in four games before Trinity's Noa Romero was a winner in five over Molly Chadwick at third, making it 3-2 Princeton.
From there, Liyen Teoh won in three games at eighth to get Princeton one win from the clincher, and after Hannah Chukwu won in three at fourth to keep pace for Trinity, Hermione Cao sealed it with a three-game win at ninth for a 5-3 Tiger lead. Jana Safy won at second in four games over Emma Trauber to make the 5-4 final.
Now 4-0 on the season, Princeton will host No. 15 Amherst on Tuesday before returning to Ivy League play on Friday with a visit from No. 8 Cornell.
