PRINCETON, N.J. – Weeks after winning its fifth-consecutive title, the Princeton men's cross country team will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, hosted by Lehigh, on Friday.
The men's 8k race will kick off at 1 p.m.
Five Peat
The Princeton men's cross country team won its fifth-consecutive Ivy League Championship in Van Cortlandt Park on October 31st. Going 1-5-7-8-11, the Tigers put up a team score of 32 to win the title, besting second-place Harvard with 46 points.
The title marks Princeton's 26th title all-time. It is also won on the anniversary of Princeton's first Ivy Cross Country Championship title 50 years ago.
Myles Hogan claimed individual victory, clocking in at 23:26.4 for the third-best Heps championship time in league history and a new Van Cortlandt Heps course record. In addition to running the fastest time at the course, he is just the third Heps runner ever to break 24:00 at Van Cortlandt.
Jackson Shorten, Jacob Nenow, Brian Boler and Hayden Boaz rounded out the Tiger scorers.
Season in Review
The Tigers have been dominant so far this year, winning three of its four team-scored races while putting up a strong 13th-place finish at Gans Creek against some of the nation's best competition.
Senior Hogan and sophomore Nenow have been solid for Princeton, with each winning an Ivy Athlete of the Week award as they put up top Tiger finishes this season.
Most recently, the Tigers won the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted at home on their Meadows Campus Cross Country Course. Hogan and Nenow made a late push to claim second and third place overall to earn clutch scores for Princeton.
In The Rankings
Princeton was ranked 19th in the latest USTFCCCA poll. They are the highest ranked Ivy League team, with Harvard coming in at 21st. The Tigers continue to hold the top spot in the Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings.

Princeton is led by Jason Vigilante, in his 15th season at Princeton and third at the helm. Since being named head coach in 2023, Vigilante has earned two-consecutive Mid-Atlantic Region Outdoor Coach of the Year honors and six Ivy Coach of the Year awards across cross country, indoor and outdoor track. He is currently ranked 14th on the USTFCCCA's most recent poll.
