No. 2 Women's Squash Falls to No. 4 Stanford

Zeina Zein and sisters Alex Jaffe and Sam Jaffe won matches on Sunday against No. 4 Stanford at the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse, but the No. 2-ranked Princeton women's squash team fell 6-3 to the Cardinal in the Tigers' home opener.

Zein's win came in four games against Riya Navani in a rematch of last year's CSA individual championship match, which Zein won, but the Cardinal took each of the next four matches off the board, at fourth, seventh, third and eighth positions, to put themselves on the brink of a win. Alex Jaffe turned in a three-game win at second position, but Stanford responded with the clincher at sixth to go up 5-2. Sam Jaffe's win at fifth followed before a Stanford win ninth closed the day.

Princeton will return to competition on Dec. 5 at home with a visit from No. 15 Williams.
