PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team welcomes the DePaul Blue Demons to Jadwin Gym on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
It's also Orange Era Night at the arena for all you Swifties out there.
HOT DOG - Basic Information
•A 16-1 fourth quarter run pushed the Princeton Women's Basketball Team over the Rhode Island Rams, 67-59, at the Ryan Center on Wednesday afternoon.
•A three-pointer by Rhode Island's Palmire Mbu put the home team ahead, 55-50, with 6:04 to go in the game.
•Princeton proceeded to score on the next six possessions to flip the game around and go in front, 63-56, as the clock ticked under 90 seconds.
•Skye Belker recorded back-to-back buckets to put the Tigers in front for good, 59-55. Princeton hit six from the free throw line to put the contest away. The road squad shot 8-of-11 from the floor in the fourth stanza (72.8 percent) while allowing just one bucket over the final six minutes of game action.
•Madison St. Rose led all scorers with 21 points, adding a career-high 13 rebounds while Fadima Tall also contributed a double-double with 19 points and 12 caroms. Those two combined to finish even with Rhode Island in rebounds (25-25).
•Belker was honored as the Ivy League Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Monday.
•Over the last four games, she's averaging 17.3 points while shooting 59.0 percent (23-of-39). She's also hit nine of 15 from deep (60.0 percent). Belker has hit all 14 free throws during this stretch and averaged 3.8 assists per contest.
•It's the second consecutive week a Tiger was honored as Ivy Player of the Week as Fadima Tall corralled the honor Nov. 17. Tall also earned Ann Meyers Drysdale USBWA National Player of the Week
after the Georgia Tech game.
•St. Rose leads the Tigers in scoring at 18.1 points per contest while Tall is the team leader in rebounding (8.0) and is second in scoring (15.3). St. Rose was named to the Wooden Award Watchlist last week.
•Princeton has four averaging double figures in scoring with St. Rose (18.1), Tall (15.3), Belker (13.9), and Olivia Hutcherson (10.7).
•The Tigers have been outscored by 32 in quarter one but have outscored their opponents by 74 in the other three quarters. The last two games are the first two times Princeton has outscored an opponent in the first quarter.
JUMBO CHILI CHEESE DOG - TOP RETURNERS
•The Tigers were voted as the No. 1 team in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, the league announced. They earned 163 voting points and 17 of the 21 first place votes.
•Columbia was second at 147 points and three first place tallies while Harvard nabbed 126 points and the final first place nod. Penn was fourth (106), followed by Brown (84), Dartmouth (46), Cornell (45) and Yale (39).
•Head coach Carla Berube's team returns four starters from last year's NCAA Tournament team in Ashley Chea (First-Team All-Ivy), Belker (Second-Team All-Ivy), Tall (Second-Team All-Ivy) and Hutcherson.
•Also, returning is St. Rose, who was named to the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award Watchlist presented by the Her Hoops Stats.
CHILI CHEESE DOG - THE CLASS OF 2029
•The Tigers brought in two players for the Class of 2029 in Sarah Lessig and Grace O'Sullivan.
•Lessig, from Seattle, Wash., was Metro League MVP and Seattle Sports Star of the Year nominee as a senior captain. She also played baseball, softball and flag football. Lessig made her debut vs. UMES, scoring four points and grabbing six rebounds in 13 minutes.
•O'Sullivan, from Acton, Mass., earned three ISL All-League honors and was a two-time NEPSAC AA and NEPSAC Class B All-Star after securing over 1,200 points and 500 rebounds. O'Sullivan has played in six contests this season.
•Each headline is a menu item from Portillos, a staple of the Chicago Food Scene, where DePaul is located.
