Men’s Tennis Sweeps Dartmouth On Opening Day Of ECAC Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Princeton men's tennis team started its journey to defend its ECAC Championship title with a 4-0 sweep over the Dartmouth Big Green.
"It was a good start today against Dartmouth and we had some really solid performances on a few courts. We certainly have some areas to improve and we'll need to be at our best tomorrow against Cornell."
Wins from Evan Wen and Aleksandar Mitric along with Fnu Nidunjianzan and Ellis Short secured the doubles point for the Tigers.
Short completed his singles match and earned a 6-0, 6-2 win before Mitric finished off his opponent 6-1, 6-1. Paul Inchauspe finished out the match for Princeton and completed the sweep with a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
The Tigers will face the No. 2 seed Cornell Big Red on Saturday at 6:00 PM.
