PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's track and field program will travel to Ithaca this weekend for the 2025 Indoor Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
The action will kick off in Barton Hall at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's track and field program will travel to Ithaca this weekend for the 2025 Indoor Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
The action will kick off in Barton Hall at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Last Time Out
- The Tigers last competed at the Philadelphia Metro Meet last Friday, with some of the squad heading up to Boston to compete in the BU DMR
- In Boston, Hannah Riggins set a new program record in the 800 after running an impressive 2:02.22. The time ranks 16th nationally and is an improvement from her previous personal record of 2:03.66, set just weeks ago at the Penn State National Open. It broke the previous Princeton record of 2:03.26, also set recently at the Penn State National Open by teammate Mena Scatchard.
- In Philadelphia, the Tigers had a strong day in the field, winning three events. Alexandra Kelly set a new season best in the long jump 6.23m/20-05.25". Her time currently ranks 46th in the NCAA.
- Georgina Scoot won the triple jump with a mark of 13.08m/42-11", setting a new season best and a Princeton all-time second-best.
Re-Writing the Record Books
- This season, the Tigers have set new program records in three events.
- Mena Scatchard set a new record in the 800 at the Penn State National Open (2:03.26), only for it to be surpassed weeks later by Riggins's 800 time (2:02.22) at the BU DMR Challenge.
- Scatchard also smashed the Princeton mile record twice this season. She first broke the record at the Dr. Sander Scorcher in January with a time of 4:32.95, set just weeks ago at the Dr. Sander Scorcher on January 25, before going on to run a blazing 4:28.43 at the BC Eagle Elite Invite.
- A DMR squad of Scatchard, Adelaide Asante, Peyton Leigh and Hannah Riggins set the program record at Penn State with a time of 11:04.51, clearing the previous 2022 record of 11:11.00.
- In addition to the Tigers holding first, 27 other performances this season made the Princeton all-time top-10 leaderboard.
Tigers on the NCAA Qualifying List
- Scatchard finds herself on the NCAA Qualifying List individually three times, now coming in at 15th in the mile (4:28.43) from the Eagle Elite Invite, 20th in the 800m from her Penn State National time (2:03.26) and 37th in the 3000m with a time of 9:00.86, set at the BU Season Opener.
- Riggins is right behind Scatchard in the 800m with a rank of 27th (2:03.66).
- Scatchard, Asante, Leigh and Riggins' DMR time from the Penn State National of 11:04.51 currently ranks 28th nationally.
- Another Tiger DMR squad of Riggins, Jazmyn Singh, Paola Rodriguez, and Alexis Allen ranks 48th with a time of 11:17.58, set at the Dr. Sander Scorcher.
- Tessa Mudd currently holds 23rd in the pole vault with a mark of 4.36m/14' 3.5", set at the Penn 10 Elite.
- Georgina Scoot is on the list in two categories, holding 29th in the triple jump with her Philadelphia Metro mark of 13.08m/42' 11" and 38th in the long jump with a mark of 6.26m/20' 6.5", set at the Princeton Navy Dual.
- Jongejeugd currently ranks 36th in the pentathlon with her Princeton record-breaking score of 3929.
- Princeton was ranked first in the Mid-Atlantic region in the latest USTFCCCA poll.
Heps History
- The Tigers hold nine total indoor Ivy Heps titles, with the last one coming in 2011 on the way to the program's Triple Crown win that same year.
- Princeton is coming off an Ivy Cross Country Championship title win in November, the program's 10th all-time and first since 2015.
- During last year's indoor season, the Tigers took second place at Ivy Heps with a total of 134 points from four individual Ivy championships, one relay championship, and four new school records.
- The Tigers are led by Michelle Eisenreich, in her ninth season as head coach after joining the program in 2016. She has coached eight Tigers to All-America honors along with over 30 individual Ivy titles and multiple NCAA appearances.
