Men’s Tennis To Host Buffalo, No. 21 NC State In Home Opener

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton men's tennis team will be back in the Garden State for its long awaited home opener on Friday, Feb. 7. The Tigers will take on the Buffalo Bulls at 12:00 PM before facing the NC State Wolfpack at 6:00 PM.
Princeton goes into the doubleheader matchup sitting at 6-2. Fnu Nidunjianzan and Ellis Short have served as bright spots for the Tigers so far this season, going a combined 11-3 in singles and 6-0 as doubles partners.
Buffalo sits at 1-3 thus far with the lone win coming against Duquesne. Princeton is 11-0 all-time versus the Bulls.
NC State is currently No. 21 squad in the most recent ITA rankings. The Tigers are 3-4 all-time against the Wolfpack and will look to even the series this weekend. NC State brings in three ranked singles players in Braden Shick (No. 17), Martin Borisiouk (No. 26) and Luca Staeheli (No. 97). Shick is also ranked in doubles with Fons Van Sambeek at No. 102.
