PROVIDENCE – Kayla Yelensky registered a career-high seven goals as the No. 8 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team defeated the No. 21 Brown Bears, 17-11, at Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center on Friday evening.
Yelensky scored a hat trick just 3:30 into the game as Princeton led 4-2 after eight minutes. The Tigers opened the second quarter with three straight tallies to expand their lead to five, 7-2.
Brown ripped off three of the next four to get within three, 8-5, before Shanna Davidson and Yelensky ended the threat with tallies. Princeton went into halftime doubling up Brown, 10-5.

Princeton continues the weekend trek at the Harvard Invitational Saturday. Head coach Derek Ellingson's team takes on No. 18 Harvard (10:20 a.m.) and No. 11 UC San Diego (3:50 p.m.) tomorrow.
