No. 8 Women's Water Polo Heads to Brown/Harvard This Weekend

PRINCETON – The No. 8 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team heads on the road this weekend to begin Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) action.
The Tigers take on No. 21 Brown on Friday (7:30 p.m.) before taking part in the Crimson Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. Princeton will battle No. 18 Harvard (10:20 a.m.) and No. 11 UC San Diego (3:50 p.m.) on Saturday and finish the weekend vs. No. 15 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday (10:20 a.m.). Each game will be streamed on ESPN+, but there will be no live stats of any contests.
Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew is 3-0 this season after defeating La Salle, LIU and No. 22 Wagner at the Princeton Invitational last month. The Tigers scored 47 goals in their three victories with nine different players scoring at least two. Kayla Yelensky led the squad with 11 tallies while Jovana Sekulic was second with eight goals. Rachael Carver has posted a team-high nine helpers and broke the program record for career assists in the victory over Wagner. She currently sits with 209.
Lindsey Lucas corralled a .609 save percentage and 28 stops in the Tigers' three games, earning CWPA Defensive Player of the Week. She joined Yelensky, CWPA Player of the Week, and Kendall Wyer (six goals), CWPA Rookie of the Week, as Princeton swept the conference's weekly awards.
