Baseball Splits Two-Game Series With William & Mary

Princeton was able to get the first run of the day in the top of the first. Nick Shenfelt reached on a fielder's choice to bring in Jake Koonin from third. The Tigers were unable to plate another as the game moved to the bottom of the frame.
James Beasley made the start on the mound. The Tribe loaded the bases but Beasley was able to force two quick outs to escape the inning unscathed.
Both teams were held scoreless in the second before William & Mary took the lead with two runs in the third.
Following a scoreless fourth, the Tribe added runs to its total in the next four innings as William & Mary took a 18-1 win.
Princeton will wrap up the spring break trip with a four game weekend series against the Liberty Flames. The first game is set for Friday, Mar. 14 at 4:00 PM.
