Catherine Rao Named Ivy League Golfer Of The Month
March 05, 2025 | Women's Golf
For the second time this season, Catherine Rao has been named Ivy League Golfer of the Month as she earned the honor for the month of February.
The recognition as the League's top golfer for February came after she picked up her second win of the season with a three-shot win at the Columbia Classic.
Rao was -6 over the three rounds at the Columbia Classic, winning that event for the second time in her career.
She now has three career wins, with a victory at the Nittany Lion Invitational in September also on her resume.
Earlier this week, Rao was one of 20 women's golfers across the country named to the Watch List for The ANNIKA Award presented each year to the most outstanding women's collegiate golfer. Next month, she will make history as the first Ivy League golfer to compete at the August National Women's Amateur.
