
No. 2 Men’s Lightweight Rowing Back In Action Against No. 3 Cornell

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's lightweight rowing team will aim to retain the Platt Cup and win back Harriott Trophy against No. 3 Cornell in Ithaca, New York, on Apr. 12.
Platt Cup and Harriott Trophy History
The Tigers lead the all-time series against the Big Red for the Phillip L. Platt '60 Trophy, which is contested between both program's 1Vs, 39-20. Last time they met, Princeton won the Platt Cup for the first time since 2018 with a 1.2-second victory, crossing the line at 5:40.27. Cornell won the 2V and 3V races to earn the Harriott Trophy.
Last Time Out
Princeton retained the Diamond Challenge Trophy against No. 5 Dartmouth at Lake Carnegie on Mar. 30. The Tigers retained the Diamond Challenge Trophy after a historic dead, as the Tigers came back from behind to cross the finish line in 5:50.9, the same time as the Big Green. Princeton's 2V and 3V also finished ahead of the Big Green's 2V and 3V.
