PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's lightweight rowing team will open postseason competition at Eastern Sprints at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts, on May 18.

Princeton hosted No. 1 Harvard and No. 6 Yale at Lake Carnegie on Apr. 26 for the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups. The 1V (5:35.2) finished just short of the Crimson (5:28.5) and ahead of the Bulldogs (5:39.4). The 2V (5:42.7) took third in a close race that saw Harvard (5:37.2) earn the win and Yale (5:41.4) come in second. In a thrilling 3V race, Princeton (5:47.0) finished in front of the Crimson (5:48.5) and the Bulldogs (6:00.6). In the 4+, Harvard (6:55.7) came away with the victory while the Tigers' A boat (7:02.5) was second and the B boat (7:11.9) third.

Princeton has won the Jope Cup, awarded to the team scoring the highest combined points total, 16 times and most recently in 2023. In addition, the Tigers have won the Ivy League title as the highest-finishing Ivy school at Sprints 13 times. The Tigers have won the Joseph Wright Trophy (1V) 17 times, the EARC Trophy (2V) 13 times and the Cornell Trophy (3V) 11 times.
