4x400 Relay
Harrison Witt returns to NCAAs for the final time as the senior makes his third trip to the NCAA Championships this year, also competing in the indoor and cross country championships. Witt, a 2025 indoor Second Team All-America honoree in the mile, qualified for the 1500m with a second place finish in his heat in the quarterfinals. Witt clocked in at 3:38.83, just 0.18 seconds behind Georgetown's Abel Teffra, automatically punching his first ticket to Eugene for the outdoor NCAA Championships.
The performance continues a dominant season for Witt, who picked up the Ivy Championship title in the 1500m at Outdoor Heps just weeks after setting a new Princeton record in the event with a time of 3:37.22.
Sam Rodman will make his fifth trip to NCAAs, competing in the 800 as the 2022 All-America Honoree looks to cap off his career with another national accolade. Rodman punched his ticket to Eugene with a first-place finish in his heat of the quarterfinals, clocking in at 1:47.24. Just weeks ago, Rodman set a new PR in the 800, running 1:46.85 at the Princeton Elite to break his own Princeton record.
Also no stranger to the NCAA Championships, Greg Foster returns for the long jump after punching his ticket at regionals with a fourth-place finish and a jump of 7.64m/25-¾. Foster, a five-time Ivy Champion in the long jump, has the third-highest season-best mark in the event with his jump of 8.10m/26-7 from the Virginia Challenge.
Joe Licata will compete in the shot put after qualifying for his first NCAA Championships with a throw of 19.23m/63-1¼ at regionals. The mark was just one centimeter off Licata's personal best of 19.24m, which he set at Penn Relays this season. At Outdoor Heps, Licata took second place and earned himself Second Team All-Ivy honors in the event.
Casey Helm will return to Eugene for the second time, as the 2025 Ivy League Champion in the discus extends what has been a strong season for the junior. At regionals, Helm jumped into fourth place with a clutch final throw attempt of 59.19m/194-2" to punch his ticket. Earlier this year, Helm set a new Princeton record in the event, throwing a huge PR of 63.37m/207-11" at Penn Relays to take first in the record books.
In the 4x400 relay at regionals, a Tiger squad of Karl Dietz, Xavier Donaldson, Kavon Miller and Joey Gant ran a blazing 3:02.62 to set a new Ivy League record and punch their ticket to Eugene. Gant ran a 44.92 anchor leg, making a kick to take second in the heat and secure the qualification for Princeton.
Their time cleared the previous Ivy record of 3:03.76, set by Harvard in 2024. It was also the second time those four Tigers set a school record in the event this season, as they broke the standing 2011 Princeton record at the Larry Ellis Invitational.
The Tigers are led by Head Coach Jason Vigilante, in his second year at the helm. Since taking leadership of the program, Vigilante has guided the Tigers to two consecutive Ivy League Triple Crowns, as completed with the 2025 Outdoor Ivy Heps title.
