
Kian Aminian & Andrew Wilkinson Named To USA U23 Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – Kian Aminian and Andrew Wilkinson of the Princeton University heavyweight rowing team were named to the Under 23 USA National Team.
The duo will race at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships from July 23-27 in Poznan, Poland, in the 8+. The will join Ed Nutt, Dan Cashman and Matt Cashman, who will be representing Australia, at the championships.
"I'm thrilled to see Kian and Drew race on the global stage against the world's best competition," said Head Coach Greg Hughes. "They both had great seasons at Princeton and this experience is going make them even better. I'm also excited by the fact we have five rowers racing at the U23 World Championships later this month."
Aminian rowed on the 1V in every race in 2025, and helped the Tigers win bronze at Eastern Sprints and finish fourth in the Grand Final at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship. He helped Princeton set a Lake Carnegie best time and win the Content Cup against Brown while also contributing to wins over Yale, Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Navy, Georgetown, Temple and La Salle. In addition, Aminian represented the USA at the 2024 World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
Wilkinson raced with the 2V in each race in 2025, leading Princeton to silver at Eastern Sprints and a first-place finish in the Petite Final at the IRA Championship. Wilkinson was also part of the 2V's wins over Navy, Yale, Cornell, Temple, La Salle and Georgetown.
