COLUMBIA, MO. – With Anna McNatt crossing the finish line first for the Tigers, the Princeton women's cross country team competed at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo.
In a field of 31 teams, Princeton finished in 17th place with a score of 447, beating two ranked programs in #6 Alabama and #24 Lipscomb. The Tigers also bested seven Power 4 programs, including Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt of the SEC and UCLA, Michigan and Ohio State from the Big 10.
In the final 1000m, the Tigers combined to kick out 22 scorers to down the team's total score and bump Princeton over 18th-place Oregon State.
