Princeton Sweeps Virginia to Open '26

Opening the 2026 portion of the schedule with a sweep, the No. 4-ranked Princeton women's squash team was a 9-0 winner at No. 6 Virginia on Saturday.
Caroline Eielson, Liyen Teoh and Hermione Cao all turned in wins in three games. Zeina Zein and Emma Trauber each bounced back from a second-game loss to win in four while Alex Jaffe and Sonya Sasson each closed out a four-game win by taking three straight games. Charlotte Bell and Sam Jaffe each win in five, with Bell holding off defeat the rest of the way after falling behind 0-2 in games and Jaffe going back-and-forth in going the distance with opponent Maryam Mian.
Princeton will head to No. 13 Amherst for a Monday match before beginning Ivy League play at Yale on Jan. 17.
