Scoot, Foster Honored as Princeton Sweeps Ivy Weekly Awards

PRINCETON, N.J. – Georgina Scoot and Greg Foster were named Ivy League Athlete of the Week on Tuesday as Princeton swept the men's and women's weekly awards.
The awards come after both Tigers set new Ivy League records at the Quaker Invitational on Saturday.
Scoot, jumping an outstanding 13.47m / 44-02.50", set a new Ivy record in the triple jump.
Her mark bested the previous Ivy record of 13.44m, set by Brown's Zion Lewis in 2020.
For Scoot, the mark is also an improvement from her previous indoor personal best, and Princeton record, of 13.16m. Her performance is currently ranked first in the NCAA this season.
It was also Scoot's first triple jump performance this season.
Foster set a new Ivy League record in the long jump, clearing 8.07m / 26-05.75."
The mark topped the 36 year old Ivy record of 8.00m, set by Princeton's own Al Dyer in 1990.
The performance also ranks second on the current NCAA list. For the five-time Ivy Champion in the event, it was Foster's first long jump performance this season.
Having a day, Foster also won the 60m hurdles, setting a new meet record and PR with a time of 7.85.
It is Foster's second time earning Ivy Athlete of the Week honors. It is Scoot's first.
