Corneia Earns Third ECAC Goalie of the Week Honor
January 20, 2026 | Women's Ice Hockey
As the No. 9-ranked Princeton women's hockey team's winning streak grew to a program-record 13 games, Princeton junior Uma Corniea was stopping 34 of 35 combined shots on goal from Harvard and Dartmouth on her way to a third ECAC Hockey MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week award.
The three ECAC weekly honors have come in a span of less than two months, and all during the 13-game winning streak in which Corniea has backstopped the team to eight of the wins. Corniea was also ECAC Hockey's and the Hockey Commissioners Association's Goalie of the Month for November and was included on the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association's Goalie of the Year watch list heading into the Harvard-Dartmouth weekend.
With Princeton atop the ECAC, the Tigers will host Cornell and Colgate this weekend.
