January 27, 2026 | Men's Track and Field
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Jackson Clarke was named Ivy League Athlete of the Week on Tuesday following a standout performance at the Penn Elite, which saw Clarke set a new Ivy 200m record and make two NCAA top-10 performances.
Clarke ran a season best 20.63 in the 200m, ranking second in the NCAA this season. An indoor personal best, the mark is an Ivy League indoor all-time record, besting the previous league record of 20.82, set by Cornell's Bruno Hortelano-Roig in 2014.
Then, in the 4x400, Clarke was joined by a squad of Jonathan York, Xavier Donaldson and Joey Gant as they ran a blazing time of 3:07.32. The mark set a new #10 time in the NCAA, and ranks second all-time in Princeton history. The performance was also a Penn Elite meet record.Â
The award is Clarke's first of his career.
