February 14, 2026 | Men's Track and Field
BOSTON, MASS. – With Myles Hogan crushing the school record in the 5000m, the Princeton men's track and field team competed at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday.
Hogan ran a blazing 13:21.57, besting the previous Princeton record, set in 2022, by 21 seconds. His time ranks 11th on the current NCAA list, and it was good enough for second place at the meet as he was edged out at the finish by Alabama's Dismus Lokira, who won by .03 seconds.
Jacob Nenow was also under the previous Princeton record time, running 13:30.26 for second and an NCAA #25.
In the mile, Connor McCormick put himself second in the Princeton all-time leaderboard with a 3:54.35 personal-best time. Collin Boler was behind him with a PR of his own, running 3:58.59 for fifth all-time.
Charlie Sexton ran 21.43 in the 200m, taking fifth place and putting him at ninth in the all-time school leaderboard.
Further west, a Tiger throws and jumps squad began competition at the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas. Greg Foster set a new Ivy League record in the long jump, besting his own previous record of 8.07m set earlier this season with a new personal best of 8.19m / 26-10.5". The mark ranks second currently in the NCAA.
