Three School Records Fall As Tigers Compete at BU Valentine
February 15, 2026 | Women's Track and Field
BOSTON, MASS. – With three school records falling, the Princeton women's track and field team competed at the BU Valentine Invitational on Saturday.
A Tiger squad of Laila Payne, Elizabeth Yeboah-Kodie, Delia Gregory and Maisha Atkinson crushed the program record in the 4x400 relay, running 3:39.79. With Payne, Yeboah-Kodie and Gregory all in their first year in the Orange & Black, the young Tiger squad was one second under the previous record set in 2023.
Atkinson had a standout day, setting two records as she also broke the 200m school record by running 23.92. She now holds three individual school records in the sprints, not including the relay.
Meg Madison and Anna McNatt created some chaos in the 5000m. McNatt, in heat two, ran 15:56.79 to set a new program record. Just minutes later, in heat three, Madison broke McNatt's record with a time of 15:54.20. While Madison came out on top in the all-time standings, both runners were under the 11-year-old Princeton record of 16:01.51, set in 2015 by Megan Curham.
In the 800m, Olivia Martin took fifth with a time of 2:05.76, putting her at fifth in the Princeton record book. First-year Nelly Floutakou also made a school top-10 mark, running 2:07.87.
Georgina Scoot and Alex Kelly continue to be consistently successful in the horizontal jumps, as both cleared 13m in the triple jump today. They were the only two jumpers at the event to clear that threshold.
Scoot won the event with a jump of 13.39m / 43' 11¼", while Kelly cleared 13.07m / 42' 10¾".
