PRINCETON, N.J. – Seeking an 11th-consecutive indoor title, the Princeton men's track and field team is set for the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships this weekend in New York City.Â
Â
The action will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in The Armory, before day two kicks off at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Â
The Tigers enter the 2025-26 indoor track season chasing a third-consecutive Ivy League Triple Crown. This Fall, the Tigers continued their streak of success as they won the 2025 cross country championship.Â
Â
Last year, Princeton completed its 12th all-time and second-consecutive Triple Crown by winning the 2025 Outdoor Heps Championship.Â
Â
In the indoor season, Princeton dominated, claiming the Ivy title by a margin of 85 points. Across the meet, the Tigers had seven individual Ivy Champions and two relay wins.
Â
Of last year's indoor individual champions, four will return in Joe Licata (SP), Greg Foster (LJ), Jackson Clarke (200m) and Joey Gant (400m).
Â
The entire 4x400 champion squad of Kavon Miller, Jonathan York, Karl Dietz, and Xavier Donaldson also returns, alongside Collin Boler of the 4x800 championship team.
Â
This season, the Tigers have set five new program records while making 24 additions to the all-time top-10 leaderboard.Â
Â
Greg Foster continues to dominate the long jump, breaking and setting the Ivy League record in the event two times this year with PRs of 8.07m and 8.19m.
Â
A 4x400 squad of York, Donaldson, Clarke and Gant also crushed the Ivy record in the relay, running 3:03.56.Â
Â
The shot put squad, led by Licata and Casey Helm, ranks second in the nation, with Licata's 19.51m leading the way. The Tigers also rank 11th nationally in the 60m, with Jadon Spain and Charlie Sexton tallying 6.68 this season, and the mile, with Connor McCormick leading with a 3:54.35 time.
Â
Myles Hogan's school record of 13:21.57 in the 5000m ranks 15th nationally and puts the Tiger event squad at 12th, as Jacob Nenow is behind him at 13:30.26.
Â
The Tigers are led by Jason Vigilante, in his third year at the helm. Since being named the head coach, Vigilante has led the Tigers to two Triple Crowns. He was named the 2025 Outdoor Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, and the 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Ivy Coach of the Year.Â
